On the analog stems, what reverb device did you use for the MV stems? And did those also go through the summing hardware, or did you just print them separately?
Finally, was the analog stems + your mix bus processing (Manley, Culture Vulture, BX EQ) the final master?
The MV stems were run through the Alesis Midiverb II, on different reverb presets (#24 or #25 are my go to's), or in some instances a chorus preset, and then directly to my interface, no extra processing.
The analog stems + mix buss processing was just the final mix/pre-master. I mastered the whole record in a single project using ozone 11. Nowadays I use a different chain though.
